Shelley Getzendanner earned her Bachelor of Art in Studio Art with a focus in Psychology from Carleton College in 2007. She seeks to create emotionally driven personal objects that focus on intimacy and interpersonal relationships.
Emotionally Clad explores the capacity of the body to become a vessel that responds to the intimate network of relationships we make between what we carry, how we carry it and how it makes us feel. This series of wearable objects accentuates how emotional security manifests within our bodies, acting as physical emotional armor for a woman in an urban setting.
