Ambient Auscultation is a simplified version of the experience of listening as viewers are asked to participate by placing their ear close to the objects attached to the tubes and taking note of the change in sound. Estranged objects that aid the viewer’s perception and experience become sensory prostheses to reality. The work is in the little moments when few people are paying attention.
