David Coddington earned his Bachelor of Art in Painting from Reed College in 2001. David’s interests stem from a brain injury, which left him with temporarily paralysis of his right side and aphasia, a defect or loss of the power of expression by speech, writing, or reading. His way of thinking about architecture is a visual language that is intuitive, instinctive and emotional.

Aphasiology is the result of a study of architecture’s need to be speechless.
